December Update

Its been a busy couple of months since the last post.

We've had an internal competition that was very well subscribed with a high standard of entries.

We came second in the Annual Boyes Trophy Competition between us New Earswick & Driffield. Mr Richard Egan (Local York photographer https://purpleport.com/portfolio/rickdog/ ) commented on the high standard of images submitted by all the clubs

The annual competition with York - this year hosted by them at there very nice new venue Edward The Confessor church hall was a close fought competition but alas we were beaten into second place.

Landscape Photographer Mr John Potter of York http://www.jpotter-landscape-photographer.com gave an extremely informative talk on landscape photography and the location of some excellent cafe's to be visited whilst on your travels.

Mr David Burgess made the journey through to Malton on particularly bad night to give a talk on his travels around China which the attendees found very interesting.
